IPTV player with profiles and kids profiles
When one IPTV service is shared by a household, profiles keep everyone's watching separate and keep children to suitable titles.
Why profiles help
- Each person gets their own Continue Watching, so your series doesn't get mixed up with someone else's.
- Everyone has their own My List and favourite channels.
- Recommendations are based on what that person watches, not the whole house.
Kids profiles
A kids profile only shows films and series up to the age rating you choose. Titles rated above it are filtered out.
Age filtering depends on titles having a rating. Where your provider's titles can be matched to a rating, they're filtered; it's worth checking a kids profile yourself before handing it over.
Parental PIN
Set a PIN so children can't switch to an adult profile or change settings. Without the PIN, a kids profile stays a kids profile.
Set up profiles in RIPTV
- Open Profile, choose Profiles to get the Who's watching? screen, then choose Add profile.
- Give it a name, and choose whether it's a kids profile.
- For a kids profile, pick the highest age rating it should show.
- Set a parental PIN so other profiles and settings are protected.

Do kids profiles filter live TV?
Age filtering works on films and series that have an age rating. Live channels don't carry ratings in the same way, so supervise live TV for younger children.
Does each profile need its own provider login?
No. Profiles share the household's IPTV service. Each one just keeps its own progress, lists and favourites.
