Televizo alternative: how RIPTV compares

Televizo is a well-liked IPTV player, particularly for live TV. Here's where RIPTV is different, so you can decide which suits you.

Where Televizo shines

Televizo is known for a clean design and a focus on live channels and the TV guide. If live TV is most of what you watch, it's a good option.

What RIPTV does differently

  • Films and series are first-class, with posters, trailers, seasons, Continue Watching and My List.
  • Live TV with a full guide, favourites and recent channels, plus catch-up where your provider records channels (Premium).
  • Custom channel groups and an extra XMLTV guide (Premium).
  • Profiles, kids profiles and a parental PIN (Premium).
  • Sync of progress, My List and favourites between phones, tablets and TVs (Premium).
  • Themes and viewing stats (Premium).

Switching is easy

  1. Find your login: in your current player's settings, or in your provider's welcome email. It's either a server, username and password (Xtream Codes) or a playlist link (M3U).
  2. Install RIPTV on your phone, tablet or TV: from Google Play, or the Amazon Appstore on a Fire TV.
  3. Enter the same details. You don't need a new subscription or a new login from your provider.
  4. Keep your old player installed while you try RIPTV. Both can use the same login, though watching on both at once uses two of your provider's connections.

Try it free

RIPTV is free, with no sign-up or card, and every new install gets 7 days of Premium free. Premium is £4.99 a year or £12.99 once, on up to 5 devices.

Product names belong to their owners. RIPTV isn't affiliated with Televizo. Features of other apps change, so check their current version.

A note on what RIPTV is

RIPTV is a player. It doesn't come with channels, films or series: you add the IPTV service you already subscribe to. Only use services you have the right to watch.
